DUNEDIN, Florida - The city of Dunedin held its 22nd Annual Mardi Gras Parade and Celebration Tuesday night. Hundreds of people showed up to the event, which took place in the Downtown area along Main Street.
It was a good time for people of all ages, not the typical Fat Tuesday. It's why Andrea O'Connell brought her children.
"We love the family atmosphere. There's so many families. Lots of kids running around. It's just a good atmosphere," said O'Connell.
It was an atmosphere filled with music, lights, and lots of food. This celebration is perhaps the next best thing in the Bay Area to the Big Easy.
"We're not in new Orleans, but we're in Dunedin, Florida, and we're having a great time," said Brenda George.
