A cold front is spreading severe weather across the central and eastern U.S. today ushering in much cooler air. That front will move through here tonight bringing some rain and much cooler air, but it will not bring any severe weather. Wednesday will be warm, windy and dry with highs in the low 80s. Lake Wind Advisory is in effect today, along with Small Craft Advisories and Moderate Rip Current threat. Showers and s stray thunderstorm will move through between midnight and 4 a.m. tonight. Winds will shift to the NW behind those showers with falling temperatures. Highs will only reach the mid 60s tomorrow with low to mid 40s tomorrow night, 30s in northern counties. A warm up gets us to the mid 70s by the weekend.
Today: Partly sunny and windy with highs in the low 80s. Winds will blow SSE-S 15-25 mph with higher gusts.
Tonight: A few showers and an isolated storm will move through between midnight and 4 a.m. It will be cooler with lows in the upper 50s to low 60s.
Thursday: Clouds clearing by midday with cooler NW winds keeping temperatures in the mid 60s for highs. Temperatures fall to the mid 40s in Tampa Thursday night, mid 30s north.
