Fog is burning off and the sun is warming us back to near record warmth levels again today. Tampa will top out near 79 today, a few degrees below the record of 82. The warm air continues through Thursday then a cold front moves into the area late Thursday night into Friday. That brings cooler air and a small chance for a few showers.
Temperatures will cool to near normal levels by the weekend with highs in the upper 60s and low 70s. The slow moving front will mean mostly cloudy skies and only a small chance for a shower.
Even cooler air will arrive Monday night bringing near freezing temperatures for our northern counties.
