The unsettled weather will continue today with more clouds than sun and a few showers . It will be mild with highs in the upper 60s. A stalled frontal boundary to our south will finally begin to move northward during the day on Tuesday, bringing more sunshine and ushering in very warm air. In fact, highs will be pushing 80 each day this week and weekend with near record numbers possible. The record high for Tuesday is 84 (2007) and we will be close with a high near 82.
The warm weather continues all week as winds stay SE through the weekend and skies generally partly cloudy.
Today: Mostly cloudy skies with a few bright spots this afternoon. There is a 30% chance for a shower before lunch and only an isolated chance afterwards. Highs will only reach the upper 60s.
Tonight: Some clearing after midnight. Lows will dip to the upper 50s to low 60s with some patchy fog. Winds will be light from the NE.
Tuesday: Skies will be partly cloudy with an isolated shower. Clouds will thicken at time, but there will be more sun than clouds. Winds will turn E 10 mph with very warm highs in the upper 70s to low 80s. Tomorrow's record high in Tampa is 84 set back in 2007. We will be close.
