Forecast: Isolated Showers Overnight; Clearing Skies Tuesday

A weak cold front currently moving into the Florida Panhandle will bring a slight chance of showers to the area into the early morning hours of Tuesday.  With light winds and plenty of available moisture...patchy fog will also be a possibility.  The front will quickly move south and will exit our region by Tuesday morning.  Behind the front we will see clearing skies, drier air, and slightly cooler temps.  Our weather will be mild and pleasant through  Thursday afternoon.

Another stronger cold front will push into our area Thursday night bringing with it a chance of showers.  This front will usher in significantly cooler air, dropping down temperatures to the 30's on the Nature Coast and 40's elsewhere.

Overnight A 20 percent chance of showers after midnight. Patchy fog after midnight. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 66. West southwest wind 5 to 7 mph.

Tuesday Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 77. Northwest wind 6 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph.

Tuesday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 53. North northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Wednesday Sunny, with a high near 78. East wind 3 to 8 mph.

Thursday Mostly sunny, with a high near 79. South wind 7 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph.

Thursday Night A 40 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 57. South southwest wind 10 to 18 mph becoming north after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 26 mph.

Friday A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly sunny, with a high near 69. North wind 9 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Saturday Sunny, with a high near 67.

Saturday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 44.

Sunday Mostly sunny, with a high near 71.
