NEAR PINELLAS PARK, Fla. - The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office has arrested a man who they said is behind a double shooting at a mobile home park.

Authorities took Francis James Bahr into custody Saturday night. He is charged with two counts of attempted first degree murder.

According to detectives, Rosa Pereira and her boyfriend, David Sharp, were shot outside the home they share at the Sunshine Mobile Home Park along 46th Avenue North. It happened at 5:30 Saturday morning.

Both victims are in critical condition at area hospitals, with gunshot wounds to the upper body.

According to authorities, Bahr wanted a relationship with Pereira, who was not interested.

Neighbor Robert Johnston said Pereira is a friend. He used to see her nearly every day. "It blows you away, man. Bam. Wow. Why? Why?" said Johnston.

Johnston added he knew Bahr was trouble. "He was a wanna-be boyfriend. He was totally jealous. He's been stalking her for the last eight months," he said. "I even told her to go down and get a restraining order on him. And she told me, 'You know, all that's going to do is piss him off more.'"

Investigators are also looking for a second suspect believed to be with Bahr at the time of the shootings.
