Sarasota, Florida -- The Sarasota Sheriff's Office has arrested a man wanted for stealing two laptops in two instances from a local Walmart in October.

Surveillance cameras caught the man, later identified as Gregory Alfieri, walking into the Walmart in the 4300 block of Cattlemen Road on Oct. 17 and Oct. 23. Both times he removed the security device from a laptop and hid it in the front of his pants and left the store.

Alfieri, 47, has been charged with two counts Grand Theft, marking his 11th arrest in the county over the past three years. The sheriff's office say he has now been reclassified as a habitual offender and is currently being held on $40,000 bond.

The Manatee County Sheriff's Office has also placed a hold on him for a similar crime in their jurisdiction.
