ST. PETERSBURG, Florida - Local supervisors of elections are issuing an important reminder this week: ballots-by-mail (a.k.a. "absentee" ballots) must be received by their offices by 7 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 6.

Many voters are under the incorrect assumption that their ballots simply need to be postmarked by Nov. 6 to be counted.

Supervisors tell 10 News that this Wednesday, Oct. 31, at 5 p.m. is the last chance to request a ballot by mail.
