LAND O' LAKES, Florida - Thousands of people showed up Saturday to a Mitt Romney Victory Rally at Land 'O Lakes High School.

The Republican presidential candidate spoke for about a half hour. He touched on the importance of early voting and wasted no time slamming the president, saying the president is playing silly word games and attacking him with lies.

"This is a president who is not standing up to the scale of the times, and the American people recognize that we need to have somebody who can get this country on track and I will with your help," said Romney.

Romney reached out to seniors and those who care for them.  He promised to restore money to Medicare. He also talked about the national debt, unemployment, and laid out a plan he said will get America back on track.

The candidate also did his part to get the crowd going.

"You know at the Obama rallies they chant 'Four more years.' Our chant ought to be '10 more days,' don't you think?"

Some voters at the rally said the economy was the number one reason why they're behind the Romney-Ryan ticket. "We just don't want four more years of what we've had: disaster," said voter Violet Collins.

Congressman Connie Mack, who is also running for the U.S. Senate, introduced Romney and encouraged supporters at the rally to take part in early voting.
