Attempted Plant City murder suspect, Phillip Waller, now in custody

Plant City, FL-- UPDATE: Detectives have taken B/M Phillip Maurice Waller into custody.

Previous Information:

Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest of a wanted murder suspect from Plant City. 

According to reports, 36-year-old Phillip Maurice Waller intentionally drove his truck into a residence on the 5200 block of Morningview Walk around 3 a.m. on October 4. 

Prior to driving the truck into the home, the suspect reportedly made threats to injure the occupants of the residence. 

As a result, HCSO detectives have secured a warrant for Waller's arrest for two counts of attempted murder. He is also wanted by the Tampa Police Department for Armed Kidnapping, Aggravated Assault, and Felony Domestic Violence Battery, reports say.

Officials describe Waller as a black male who is 5'7", 160 lbs, and has a medium build, black hair and brown eyes.
