A frontal boundary is sprawled out across the area again today and waves of energy will move along it through Tampa today. That means showers will be widespread again. It has been relatively dry so far this morning, but the rain is just offshore and will spread over the are later this afternoon. It won't rain all day, we will see some breaks this afternoon, but it would be wise to keep the umbrella with you.
That front finally begins to push southward tomorrow taking the rain chance down from 50% today, to 20% tomorrow. That also means dewpoints will start to drop eventually reaching the mid to upper 60s by Wednesday. It will still be warm with highs in the upper 80 this week, but you will notice the drier air! The rainy season is basically coming to a close. The next chance for rain is a slim one on Sunday.
Today: Scattered shower and storms beginning late morning and on and off through the afternoon. WInds start from the E then turn W 10 mph with a high in the mid 80s.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy to partly cloudy at times. Winds W-N 5 mph with a low of 72.
