SEMINOLE, Florida -- An arrest has been made in a fatal hit and run crash that occured in July near Park Blvd. and 110th Lane in Seminole.

According to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, 24-year-old Edin Deleon was crossing Park Blvd. at around 1 a.m. on Sunday, July 8 when he was struck by a dark-colored sedan. Then, while still in the roadway, he was struck again by a silver Honda Civic.

The driver of the Civic stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities, deputies say, but the sedan fled.

Through various citizen tips and investigative leads, deputies say they were able to develop probable cause for the arrest of 39-year-old Todd Kershaw.

Kershaw is currently being held at the Pinellas County jail with a $100,000 bond.
