Tampa, Florida -- A Hillsborough judge says accused cop killer Dontae Morris will stand trial with a jury from Orlando.
On Friday Judge William Fuente said the court will travel to Orlando, pick a panel of 12 jurors and at least two alternates.
Morris is accused of killing five people in all, including Tampa police officers Jeffrey Kocab and David Curtis.
Last month Morris was on trial for the shooting death of Rodney Jones during a robbery attempt outside an East Tampa night club. It ended abruptly after it was discovered several potential jurors had discussed the pending charges against Morris.
The judge says on March 4, 2013, court personnel will pack up and travel to Orlando to pick a new jury for that trial.
Judge Fuente says he will make a decision on October 1st on whether to conduct the trial in Orlando or bring those jurors back to Tampa.
Fuente has set aside 2 weeks to hear the case.
