New Port Richey, Florida -- A Honeywell security officer is facing kidnapping charges after a woman says he wouldn't let her out of his truck while demanding sex.
Krystal Wells told deputies James Cook picked her up near the Royal Palm motel in New Port Richey to give her a ride and requested sex. When she refused, she said he grabbed her arm and demanded it.
At that point, she said she tried to get out of the truck but he wouldn't let her out and sped through the parking lot.
Just before they exited the parking lot, she said she was able to get the door open and that's when he pushed her out and left her there.
Wells was taken to the hospital and was treated for a deep cut to her left shoulder that required surgery.
Due to probable cause, Cook was charged with Kidnapping.
