Safety Harbor, Florida -- The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man wanted in connection with the sexual battery of a 12-year-old child, in addition to two other violent crimes.
Detectives say 42-year-old Gregory Johns is accused of sexually battering the child back in June of this year while the child was in his custody.
St. Pete Police are also looking for Johns in connection with the armed robbery and false imprisonment of a 78-year-old woman on Aug. 28 and the robbery of a couple at knife-point in Vinoy Park on Aug. 29.
Johns last known location was in the Safety Harbor area and is known to drive a vehicle described as a 2006 black, 4-door Ford "Fusion" with Florida tag 938IZN. He is described as 5'9", about 275 lbs., with short, brown hair and brown eyes. Authorities say his is now wearing glasses and has a trimmed goatee.
