Tampa, Florida-- 10 News Anchor Eric Glasser had the opportunity to speak one-on-one with former governor Jeb Bush while covering the Republican National Convention Thursday.
Bush spoke about the effort and the importance of making the GOP more appealing to young people, and also added that if they don't start getting the next generation involved in the process, he feels the party could suffer.

The former governor also said this is a campaign about big ideas, sticking to principles, and also touched on what he thinks Mitt Romney needs to say tonight.
"I think he needs to lay out a really hopeful and optimistic alternative to the pessimistic climate that we're in right now. The president's had four years; his policies haven't worked," said Bush.
As for Bush's speech tonight, he said he plans to concentrate his comments on education. He wants to emphasize the importance of making sure people of all cultural diversities are given opportunity to learn, and that the next generation is ready to compete in this global economy.
