Pinellas County, Florida-- Pinellas County officials said they expect to make some important decisions when it comes to Tropical Storm Isaac on Sunday, holding off until then to avoid "cry[ing] wolf."

Depending on the track and strength of the storm, officials could issue a local State of Emergency, or start issuing evacuations.

County officials said they've been on conference calls with the different county municipalities and public safety agencies throughout the week.

They are encouraging everyone to start preparing for Isaac just in case, if they haven't done so already.

One Indian Rocks Beach resident, Ed Rogers, said though he's not actively doing anything now, he does have his plan in his head.

"The things that I'm going to need to survive for the next couple of weeks, some clothes, your lap top the paperwork you got to have to get your money and that sort of stuff, is going in [the] car and then I'll drive the other way as far as I need to," said Rogers.

He said he will make a decision on whether to take any action by Sunday.
