Largo, Florida - Quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies: they are all over our homes, in the dresser drawer, the floor and maybe even a glass jar.

The Emerson Coin Sorter promises to sort your coins easily and even comes with some coin rolls.

Try It Team member Jonathan Moreno checks out this gadget in hopes of counting all of his loose change. Putting no more than twenty coins in at a time, Jonathan quickly sorted through all his coins. At one point overflowing the plastic tube that was taking in all the quarters.

He was disappointed to find out that the coin sorter does not stop feeding coins in the slots, once they are full. He also had to figure out on his own when he had reached the right amount, per tube. There were no lines or marks to let him know when he had reached his mark.

Overall Jonathan had to give the Emerson Automatic Coin Sorter two thumbs down. He wishes that it would stop automatically when each tube reaches the desired total. He also does not like the fact that none of the tubes are marked, so you know how much money you have in each.

Jonathan's dad works here at 10 News.
