Clearwater, Florida - Our Pet of the Week is Roxy.  She's a sweet, playful 9 year old Lab mix. Roxy will bring you toys, place them in your lap and eagerly wait for the game to begin. She has a long list of verbal commands that she knows including crawl & speak. She is extremely smart and eager to please which makes learning fun for everyone involved.

Roxy's previous home was shared with other dogs which she got along with just fine. Younger children can make her a bit nervous but she loves teenage siblings and playmates! Roxy loves to spend time playing outdoors and especially loves the water. She will gladly frolic, splash around and dive for rocks or toys, so if you have a pool she can play in, even better!

Pet of the Week: Marigold

Marigold is a gorgeous 1 year old medium sized domestic short haired cat. She is jet black and has stunning yellow eyes. She was a sweet personality and is a very affectionate and loving young girl. She has this cute, squeaky little meow that she uses often to get your attention.

Marigold came into the shelter with an injured leg but is now all healed and looking for her new forever home. She expects all other kitties to be her friend and is genuinely surprised if they are not interested. We do not know how she is with children or dogs so if you have either please bring them with you to meet our beautiful flower, Marigold.
