Flaky mahi mahi filets topped with a tangy sauce that's simple to prepare!
- 6 4-ounce mahi filets
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 4 Tbsp butter
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 2 Tbsp white flour
- 1 Cup chicken broth
- 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp capers with juice
- Parsley for Garnish
Lightly salt and pepper mahi to taste. Over medium heat, sauté filets in olive oil 2-3 minutes per side, turning once. Set aside.
In the same saucepan, add butter. Over medium heat, sauté garlic 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Slowly add in flour and cook, stirring, until it turns light brown (about 3 minutes). Whisk in the chicken broth, lemon juice and capers. Simmer over medium heat until the sauce thickens slightly.
