Census job fairs being held in the Bay area

  • Port Richey, Florida -  If you're looking for a job, the Census is hiring! Hundreds of census taker jobs are going to be available soon right here in the Bay area.

    But with the 2010 Federal Census right around the corner, the U.S. Census Bureau must recruit and train workers so it's holding job fairs in our area. 

    Saturday and Sunday a job fair was held at Regency Park Civic Association at 10240 Regency Park Boulevard. Many of the applicants had to take a 30 minute test.

    Here's a look at upcoming job fairs: 

    Regency Park Civic Association
    10240 Regency Park BLVD
    Port Richey FL 

    Saturday Jan 30 11:00am to 5:00pm 

    Sunday Jan 31 9:00am to 5:00pm

    There will also be a job fair held at:

    Wesleyan Church
    38924 C Avenue
    Zephyrhills , FL

    Saturday Jan 30 from 1:00p to 5:00pm

    All applicants are asked to bring a Passport or Drivers License and Social Security Card. Veterans are asked to bring a copy of their DD-214
