TALLAHASSEE, Florida -- Florida Representative Matt Gaetz has filed a bill (HB 4005) that would repeal a fireworks ban in the state.
Currently, the state law limits sales to devices like sparklers, while banning the sales of big ticket items like bottle rockets. But a loophole allows the sale of fireworks to people who sign a statement saying they have an exemption to the law.
