Mayor Bill Foster and former state representative Rick Kriseman will go head to head for the role as Mayor of St. Petersburg after primary election.
St. Petersburg, Florida -- Citizens can hear what the mayoral candidates have to say on various issues during a Primary Election Forum at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg on Thursday, Aug. 15.
During the forum, all five candidates -- Anthony Lenardo Cates, Paul Joseph Congemi, Kathleen Sweeney Ford, David William (Bill) Foster and Rick David Kriseman -- will answer pre-screened questions submitted by USFSP government students and the community at large. USF professor and Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences Frank Biafora will serve as moderator at the forum.

The forum will be held in City Hall's Council Chamber, 175 Fifth St. N. at 6 p.m.
The public is invited to attend. Seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The forum can also be viewed live on StPeteTV, where it will be replayed until the Primary Election on Aug. 27. It can also be seen online at www.stpete.org, and will be archived on the city's YouTube page.
