LAKEWOOD, Ohio (AP) - It's not quite a guarantee, but Vice President Joe Biden is predicting he and President Barack Obama will win Tuesday's election - and says he doesn't think it will be close in the Electoral College.
Biden, who campaigned in Ohio Sunday, told Chris Matthews of MSNBC that he and Obama would win Ohio, perhaps the most critical battleground in the closely fought election.
He said he thought Ohio, Wisconsin and Iowa would "hold firm" and he and Obama would "win clearly."
Biden also predicted Democratic wins in Nevada and New Hampshire, two other battleground states, and said Democrats have "an even chance" of winning Virginia and Florida.
