Mitt Romney lands in Tampa, will hold rally Wednesday morning

Tampa, Florida -- Presidential candidate Mitt Romney arrived in Tampa Tuesday evening in advance of his rally scheduled for Wednesday morning at Landmark Aviation.

In addition to a campaign stop in Tampa, Romney is also scheduled to appear at events in Coral Gables and Jacksonville on Wednesday. The republican presidential candidate will be joined at the rallies by former Gov. Jeb Bush, Sen. Marco Rubio and Congressman and Senate candidate Connie Mack IV.

The latest Rasmussen daily nationwide poll continues to show Romney leading President Barack Obama by 2-points; 49%-to-47%. According to Rasmussen's latest polling, 51% of voters have a favorable opinion of the former Massachusetts Governor and 48% say the same of Obama.

Wednesday's rally in Tampa will be held at Landmark Aviation, which is located at 2450 N. Westshore Blvd.

Doors open at 8:45 p.m.  and the program is expected to start by 11 a.m.

Tickets for the event are available at Romney Victory offices in Tampa, Brandon and Temple Terrace.

A spokesperson for the Romney campaign did not say what Romney would be doing in Tampa on Tuesday night.
