Clearwater, Florida- Our Pet of the Week is Buster. This 10 year old yellow Lab is a big, sweet, lovable family dog looking for his new family. Buster has spent his previous years with an active household including children of all ages and other dogs. He is already house trained, he knows a plethora of commands and tricks and is very eager to learn more and make his human family members happy and proud of him.

As a result of a drastic change in his family structure, Buster made his way to HSP. His previous mom describes him as an excellent member of the family and felt he deserves more time and activity then they could provide. He also loves to swim and will 'rescue' items from the water. A perfect new family will offer Buster tons of love, affection and attention; everything he deserves.

Pet of the Week: Juno

Juno is a gorgeous medium sized 3 year old domestic short haired cat. She is all white with yellow eyes. She is a very special kitty and she is also deaf. This doesn't change her personality at all. She is extremely affectionate and playful.

Juno was turned in by her previous owner because they became ill and could no longer care for her. We were told that she was very agreeable in the home. She gets along well with other cats but prefers the company of humans. We do not know how she does with dogs. Because of being deaf she would do best in a forever home with older children that understand her needs.
