Clearwater, Florida -  Here is our sweet, affectionate 5 year old Pit Bull, Girl. She is absolutely gorgeous with a velvety blue fawn coat and an amazing physique. She is a very strong dog and very well behaved. Girl knows her basic commands; sit, stay (for only a second!), shake and she will quickly retrieve her toys as she knows it means the game is still on. Girl is even both house and crate trained.

This ball of fun loves her toys and has even been known to dance. Our sweet Girl would love an active home with a secure back yard and she enjoys children over 8 years that can play with her. She has it all: a sweet and loving personality, wonderful manners, and is smart as could be!

Pet of the Week: Delia

Delia is a gorgeous domestic medium haired cat. She is about 2 years old and her fur is in a pattern that we call tortoiseshell. This means that she is mostly orange and brown making her a very unique looking girl. She is very friendly and easy to handle. She seeks attention from anyone that is willing to give it to her.

Delia was brought to us from another shelter so not much is known about her past. We do know that she is compatible with other cats because she gets along well with her roommates here at the shelter. We recommend that she goes home with older children. We do not know how she will do in a new forever home with dogs so if you have any in your family, please bring them with you to meet our Delia and give her a happy and loving home that she deserves.
