Pet of the Week: Onya
Pet of the Week: Finchie
Clearwater, Florida - Our Pet of the Week is Onya. This cute little girl is Onya. She is a 6 year old Australian Cattle Dog with a beautiful coat and an adorable expression. She is a petite gal with a small stature. Onya arrived at HSP in April when there was a change in her home life; she prefers to be around adults. She can be a bit timid at first, but with a bit of encouragement and reassurance, you will earn her trust and she will never want to leave your side.
True to her breed, Onya is a very smart and loyal girl that is completely house trained and knows several commands. She is an energetic girl that will benefit from an active lifestyle that includes play time and plenty of exercise. Once you are hers, you will never be alone; she is going to be your best friend forever!

Pet of the Week: Finchie
Finchie is a beautiful medium sized 6 year old domestic short haired cat. The pattern of white and tabby on her front legs is unique and really sets her apart. She is a very affectionate kitty who likes nothing more than to be petted and rubbed. She will give you kitty kisses to show her appreciation. She is quite friendly and trusting of people.
Finchie was turned into the Humane Society because her previous owners could no longer afford her. She can get along with other cats; however, she would be happiest in a quieter home or one where she could be the only kitty. We do not know if she gets along with dogs or children so if you have either please bring them with you to meet our sweet girl and give her the forever home that she deserves.
