Pet of the Week: Patti
Pet of the Week: Sonnie
Clearwater, Florida - Our Pet of the Week is Patti. Sweet Patti is in her glory! This retired racing Greyhound is enjoying her time learning what it means to be a pet. Patti may be 3 years old, but her playful personality and inquisitive expressions show you her puppy like attitude that she missed while at work on the track as a youngster. She has warmed up to people and will quickly take her spot right by your side.
Patti is a very sweet girl that has quickly adjusted to her retired lifestyle. She loves having her own bed, blankets that are soft and any type of toy you will share with her. Squeaky toys are very intriguing, round toys move on their own and she has discovered 'chewies'. There is no looking back for Patti, can you give her the future she deserves?

Pet of the Week: Sonnie
Sonnie is a super sized 7 year old domestic short haired cat. He is all black with cute yellow eyes. He is a little large at 24 pounds but he has enough love to go around. He loves to get attention and just lounge around. He is a very gentle boy that just needs to be given the love that he gives out.
Sonnie's finds himself in need of a new home because his former family lost theirs. He has adapted well to the change and we feel comfortable that this easy going fellow will get along in almost any home as long as he has some nice folks to take care of him. He gets along very well with the other cats here at the shelter. We do not know if he has been around dogs or children so if you have either please bring them in to meet our big boy.
