Clearwater, Florida - Our Pet of the Week is Taylor. Taylor was waiting for outside the Humane Society of Pinellas gates one morning. The Humane Society of Pinellas estimates this Pit Bull Terrier Mix to be about 7 years old. In the last couple of months, they have found Taylor to be a very sweet, passive and relaxed gal. She keeps an eye on everything going on around her, both people and other dogs, yet isn't too interested in being in the middle of it all. She enjoys simply watching from the comfort of her own doggie pillow.

Taylor has a darling face with an expression that shows love and compassion. She is very gentle as she works her way into your lap for a soft petting session or a good tummy rub. Who knows what led to Taylor's arrival here, but at least she is here where she has 'no time limit' while patiently waiting for a new family to take her home.

Pet of the Week: Atradies

Atradies is a large sized 6 year old Domestic Short haired cat. He is very handsome. He is mostly white with brown tiger markings on his body that make him unique looking. He is outgoing, active, and very affectionate, but he can let you know if he is done playing by walking away.

Atradies was turned in by his previous owners because they could no longer take care of him and his buddy. His buddy got adopted but Atradies is still with us. He gets along very well with other cats. We do not know how he is with dogs so if you have a dog in your family, please bring them with you to meet him. He would also do best in a forever home that has older children in it. Please come by to meet our sweet Atradies.
