Pet of the Week: Grant
Clearwater, Florida - Grant is an extremely sweet 2-year-old Lab/Pit Bull Mix that was fortunate to make his way to the Humane Society of Pinellas through our Shelter Transfer Program. We have found Grant to be an affectionate and goofy boy that will surely make you laugh. He gets so excited when he knows he is about to get attention that he wiggles and jumps in the air like he is dancing around. Then he looks at you with those big brown eyes as he tries to become a 60# lap dog.
He has a very sleek, shiny, midnight black coat with the most adorable white chin and perfect stripe down the middle of his face. He has started to spend time in our adoption center where he enjoys greeting shelter visitors and is very comfortable being amidst the hustle and bustle of ringing phones and the sounds of bottle-fed baby kittens. He just lays on his pillow until eye contact is made, then let the dancing begin!

Pet of the Week: Taloose
Taloose is a very handsome medium sized 1-year-old domestic short haired cat. His fur is in a brown tiger pattern. He is an extremely social kitty. As soon as you walk into his enclosure he is the first cat to come say hello. He likes to rub up against you to get your attention. He has lots of energy to share and loves to play. His personality will win your heart in seconds. He likes to play with his Scratchy Box.
Taloose was turned in by his previous owners because they could no longer take care of him. He gets along well with the other cats that he is roommates with but prefers to play with humans than other cats. We do not know if he gets along with dogs so if you have any at home please bring them with you and give our loving boy the new forever home that he needs.
