Clearwater, Florida - Our Pet of the Week is Baby. Two year old Baby is full of happy puppy energy. This Pit Bull mix has a very sweet personality and is very eager to please. She was rescued from unfavorable conditions and is going to extremely grateful to her new owners that will teach her what it is like to be a cherished, loved family member.

Baby will be a great addition to an active household that can give her all of the exercise, love and attention that she deserves. It would be best for her to have a safe and secure back yard to play in. Baby has made some dog friends while with us also! She adores stuffed toys, the stuffing itself of course! Baby would greatly benefit from obedience training. She wants to make you happy, but doesn't quite know what to do. Training will be a wonderful way to bond with her new owner. She deserves her own 2nd chance success story.

Pet of the Week: Sahara

Sahara is a large domestic short haired 4 year old cat. He is an attractive cat that has an unusual grayish buff or sandy colored coat making his name fit him well. He is very friendly, easy going, and gentle. He loves to talk and say hi to you if you approach him. He also loves to play. There is a ton of personality in this large kitty. He is de-clawed in front but not back.

Sahara's previous owners turned him in because they became ill and could no longer take care of him. We are pretty sure that he would like to be the only cat in his new forever home. He is not aggressive at all toward other cats but seems to be somewhat uncomfortable and perhaps intimidated by them even though he is larger than most. We do not know how he will get along with a dog so if you have one please bring them with you to meet Sahara. We also recommend that his new home have older children in it because he was never around younger children.
