La Crosse Wisconsin's 12th annual "bark in the park" was the place to be if you enjoy the sound of dogs barking!
People brought their pooches to try to beat a Guinness World Record for the "loudest bark by a group of dogs."
The area used to hold the title, until some vocal canines in Colorado took away the honor in 2009.
Organizers played some old stand-bys doorbells and other sounds on a loudspeaker to get the group going.
The decibel level to beat was 124, equal to an ambulance siren.
This year, these dogs could only muster a barking level of 114.5 .about ten decibels short. But all the owners say they're going to try again next year.
