(USA TODAY) -- Treasury Secretary Jack Lew's penmanship has improved -- somewhat.
You can (barely) make out the name that will soon adorn U.S. currency.
The Treasury Department on Tuesday tweeted out the new "official signature" from Lew, whose loopy handwriting has been mocked by President Obama and others.
When Obama nominated Lew for the Treasury post in January, he joked: "Jack assures me that he is going to work to make at least one letter legible in order not to debase our currency."
