ORLANDO, Florida (WKMG) -- Law enforcement officials arrested a man wanted on attempted murder and armed robbery charges in South Carolina at an Orlando motel swimming pool.
The U.S. Marshals Service said it worked with the Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force to track down James Rickie Cobb, 22.
Authorities said Cobb is charged in Charleston with three counts of attempted murder and armed robbery after patrons of a Lil' Cricket convenience store were shot after unknowingly walking in on a robbery on April 19.
After investigators found out Cobb may have fled to Orlando, U.S. marshals found him sunbathing at the pool of an Orlando Days Inn motel on Monday.
Cobb was taken to the Orange County Jail pending extradition to South Carolina.
