Swampmaster plans first show since gator nearly rips his arm off

Kissimmee, Florida -- It's been more than 2 months since an alligator nearly ripped Jeff Quattrocchi arm off during a live show. But now he says he's ready to go back to work and back to handling gators.

First though, Quattrocchi who performs under the name Swampmaster says he wants to set the record straight. So he sat down with 10 Connects to talk about the May 9th incident.

Ouattrocchi gained international attention when an 8 foot gator clamped down on his right arm while he was performing in front of a live audience in New Port Richey. The incident was caught on video and immediately went viral. Quattrocchi had to be hospitalized.

Next week, Quattrocchi will perform his first show since the attack. While it won't be with the gator that bit him, Quattrocchi says he will perform at least one more show with the animal later this year.

Quattrocchi performance next week will be at the Bangor State Fair in Maine.
