Tampa, Florida -- The man accused of gunning down three people, including two Tampa Police officers, has now been charged in connection to the shooting death of a fourth person.
Hillsborough County Sheriff David Gee says Dontae Rashawn Morris now faces first degree murder charges from the death of Harold Wright.
Special Section: Tampa Police Shooting
Wright's body was discovered early on June 8 along the side of the road at 2003 51st Street S. in Tampa. The Hillsborough County Medical Examiners Officer has confirmed the cause of death was from a gunshot to the head.
Hillsborough County homicide detectives conducted an extensive investigation and obtained enough evidence to charge Morris with the new charges.
Morris is currently at the Orient Road Jail being held without bond in the connection with the murder of Tampa Police Officers David Curtis and Jeffrey Kocab. He is also charged for the May 18 murder of 21-year-old Derek Anderson outside an apartment complex.
