Tampa, Florida -- Hillsborough County Commissioners voted 6 to 1 Wednesday to oust County Administrator Pat Bean after seven years on the job. Jim Norman is the ONE.
Bean has been with the county for 32 years.
She's being let go "with cause." That means she will not get severance pay, which would have totaled into the hundreds of thousands of dollars.
She will, however, get vacation and sick pay -- totaling about $190,000.
Bean has been on paid administrative leave for the last three months. During that time, she earned $56,000.
Bean's troubles started when she and County Attorney Renee Lee gave themselves one percent raises without telling commissioners, as required by law and uncovered by 10 Connects reporter Mike Deeson.
Lee has also come under close scrutiny, but will keep her job for now.
