Deputies pull over suspects in a deadly Tampa 7-Eleven stabbing in Sarasota.

Riverview, Florida -- Investigators say all three suspects in the fatal stabbing of a 7-Eleven clerk early Wednesday morning have been taken into custody.

According to reports, Russell Beasley, 25, and another suspect were pulled over after deputies spotted the suspect's 2000 Toyota Solara on Fruitville Road in Sarasota County.

The second suspect had not been named in the case at the time, but the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Department has since identified him as 23-year-old Brandan Garrett Green.

After pulling them over, reports say Sarasota deputies drew their guns, but were able to take both Beasley and Green into custody without incident. A small dog was also found inside their vehicle.

Around the same time, a Charlotte County deputy spotted the third suspect, 20-year-old Lawrence Robert Bongiovanni, walking down a road in Charlotte County.

The deputy arrested Bongiovanni immediately. Latest reports said he'll be booked into the Charlotte County Jail, and charged with first degree murder.

Beasley and Green were taken to the Sarasota County Jail. Deputies said they are still in custody, and detectives are working to determine the extent of their involvement in the case.

Deputies said the men will attend preliminary hearings Thursday before they are transferred back to Hillsborough County.

According to earlier reports, the suspects robbed the 7-Eleven at Providence Road and Bloomingdale Avenue in Riverview. They didn't steal money, but instead allegedly took scratch-off lottery tickets. The store's clerk, 54-year-old Kenneth Lee Redding, was stabbed to death.

Cops tracked them through lottery vendors who called to report that someone was trying to cash in the stolen tickets. Deputies zeroed in on them based on the time and location info from the lottery vendors.

10 News will have more on this developing story as additional information becomes available.
