Tampa, Florida - In this quiet North Dale neighborhood, the news spread slowly.
"I heard someone was crushed in an elevator at the Tradewinds," said James Pullen.
What Pullen didn't realize until now was that the person crushed was his long-time neighbor who lived just few doors away, Mark Allen Johnson.
"I feel bad for his family. Mark was a nice guy, he always waved at me."

"Great, great dad and a great family man," said Brad Iturriaga, Mark Johnson's cousin. "He's got two younger boys, he worked really hard to have a place for them."
The loss hit home for Brad as he has two sons of his own. Brad spent the afternoon updating family members as the tragic news got out.
"He's definitely going to be missed. We have a huge family he will be missed by everybody."
Mark worked for SWS Environmental Services in Largo. A spokesperson for the company said they are saddened to have lost an employee like Mark. He was 45 years old.
