Ruskin, Florida -- UPDATE: The brawl with gunshots involving 20-30 adolescents Thursday afternoon may have started over a 15-year-old girl's hurt feelings, Hillsborough deputies said Thursday night.
According to their report, witnesses told investigators that a group of teens showed up to the 7500 block of Maroon Peak Dr. to fight for a female friend who was insulted the day before.
The teens were reportedly fighting the boy who made the offensive comments, along with his friends, when someone in a nearby car fired at least five gunshots.
The latest report maintained that no one was shot, and also said no one was seriously injured in the brawl.
Officials are still investigating, but they do not believe this incident was gang related.

Two cars full of teenagers were shooting at each other in Ruskin, according to Hillsborough deputies.
No one was hurt.
One of the cars was found in the 8400 block of Hunter Fork Loop. Deputies are currently searching for the other car.
It also means that one school bus can't get into that neighborhood to drop off students. The Hillsborough School Board says the bus from Shields Middle School, carrying five students, was not able to get into the neighborhood.
The bus returned to the school, where parents can either pick their kids up, or they will be put back on a bus later on.
