Forecast: Mild and Breezy Thursday; Much Colder This Weekend

High pressure settling over the southeastern U.S. and Florida will bring us quiet weather for Thursday with mild daytime highs and partly sunny skies. Breezy northwest winds will keep temps slightly below average Thursday, with steadily dropping temps into the weekend as a much colder airmass moves in. 

A cold front moving through late Saturday will usher in a Canadian air mass that will cause temps to tumble. Along with the front, will see a chance of showers.  

High temperatures on Sunday will stay in the upper 50's with nighttime lows dropping into the 30's and 40's.  Wind chill advisories may be needed for Sunday night as well as freeze warnings for portions of the area.

Thursday Mostly sunny, with a high near 71. West northwest wind 5 to 13 mph.

Thursday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 50. West northwest wind 7 to 11 mph.

Friday Mostly sunny, with a high near 63. North wind 8 to 14 mph.

Friday Night Mostly cloudy, with a low around 44. Northwest wind 6 to 11 mph.

Saturday A 20 percent chance of showers after 8am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 63. West northwest wind 7 to 13 mph.

Saturday Night A 30 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 43. Northwest wind 5 to 8 mph.

Sunday A 30 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 59. Light and variable wind becoming northwest 8 to 13 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 18 mph.

Sunday Night A 20 percent chance of showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 40.

Monday Sunny, with a high near 63.

Monday Night Clear, with a low around 41.

Tuesday Sunny, with a high near 70.
