New Port Richey, Florida-- After bomb threats scared staff and students at two schools Thursday morning, Pasco County officials announced they've arrested the man responsible for the calls.
According to reports, Chad Allen Key called in fake bomb threats to Richey Elementary and Chasco Elementary shortly after 9 a.m.
After New Port Richey police officers and Pasco deputies ensured neither school was really at risk, they followed up on the possible address that the call came from.
By 11 a.m., officials found Key inside his home off the 7800 block of Raintree Dr. in New Port Richey, and arrested him on two counts of both, False Report of Planting a Bomb and of Disruption of an Educational Institution.
