A cold and dry airmass will continue to settle across the area and has prompted freeze warnings overnight for Citrus and Hernando counties.

The warning is in effect from 2 a.m. until 9 a.m. Friday morning.

Low temps of 30-32 degrees are likely for several hours or more.  Be sure to cover your sensitive vegetation and bring pets indoors.  Elsewhere skies will be clear with lows ranging from the mid 30's to mid 40's for central and southern zones.

High pressure will continue to build into the area from the west and will be reinforced from the northwest through Friday keeping cold and dry conditions in place.

Skies will be sunny on Friday with high temps ranging from the mid 60's on the Nature Coast to near 70 degrees for southern zones.  North winds from 10-20 miles per hour will make the actual air temps feel even cooler.
