Tampa, FL -- For many kids, getting to see clowns, animals, and all the theatrics of the circus will make memories they'll never forget.

And for those battling illness in the hospital, the circus came to them.

Clowns from Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus brought their red noses to spread some cheer to kids in at Children's Medical Center at Tampa General Hospital.

One of the young children, Erica has been on bed rest stuck in her hospital room battling a blood disorder. Her mom says getting to hang out in the playroom with the clowns gave them both a much needed break.

Performances of the Built to Amaze show run through this weekend at the Tampa Bay Times Forum. You can try to win tickets on the 10 News Facebook page.
