Caroline Catarzi was one of four women Sarasota deputies say was responsible for a string of home burglaries in recent weeks.

Sarasota, Florida -- Deputies say they have arrested four women believed to be responsible for a string of home burglaries in Sarasota over the past two weeks.

The Sarasota Sheriff's Office says Samantha Smith and Brandy Kinney, both 19, 23-year-old Alyssa Conrad, and 20-year-old Caroline Catarzi broke into at least 20 homes in the Southgate area to steal jewelry, coins and cash.

The suspects reportedly told investigators they committed the crimes to fund their Oxycodone addictions.

The women are suspected of additional burglaries in the city of Sarasota, and more charges are pending.
