Charlotte, N.C. -- They aren't speaking at the Democratic National Convention, they're not attending the DNC, and they're not running for office. But a group of deputies helping with security in Charlotte this week are certainly generating a lot of attention with their work directing traffic.

The deputies from the Clayton County Sheriff's Office in Georgia have been causing laughs and smiles for their playful whistles and mimes while directing traffic.

On Wednesday, the deputies were at the intersection of N. 5th and N. Tryon as scores of people stopped to take pictures and videos of the officers.
