Tampa, Florida -- We don't have to tell you...gas prices are inching up again.
AAA estimates the national average for a gallon of regular gas jumped 16 cents since July 1.
Speculation seems to be keeping prices on the upward pace despite lower demand and eased tensions in Iran.
Prices may start to stabilize in the coming weeks.
"Motorists may see some stability at the pump as we enter August. Although gas prices will likely inch up this week, we shouldn't't see prices spike like they did during the first half of the month," said Jessica Brady, AAA spokeswoman.
The average price for a gallon of regular gas this morning in Tampa Bay is estimated at $3.37.
