Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow warms up before a December 2010 game against the Houston Texans.
ORLANDO, Florida (WKMG) -- Former Florida Gators and current Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow will make his commercial debut next week as the first pro athlete to model Jockey underwear since Jim Palmer in 1980, ESPN.com reported, citing a Jockey spokesman.
Tebow will wear Jockey Staycool products, and he will be featured in magazine ads and television appearances in the coming days, the report said.
Tebow told ESPN.com that he's not doing "something risque," adding that the campaign is "very classy."
The commercial was shot in Los Angeles about a month after the NFL season ended, the report said.
Tebow will be in Orlando on Saturday as a special guest of honor at the home opener of the Orlando Predators of the Arena Football League.
Tebow, a two-time national champion at Florida and the 2007 Heisman Trophy winner, will participate in a special pregame program during the Predators faith and family night. He will also take part in the opening night coin toss and address Preds fans prior to kickoff.
