Tampa, Florida-- While many people are busy making their Black Friday list and checking it twice, others have opted to do a different type of holiday shopping, one that includes the smell of pine and a fresh cut tree.
At the Winterland Christmas Tree Lot on Dale Mabry in Tampa, you can find just about any type of tree your family may be looking for.
David Evans says this year trees are merrier then ever.
"The shape and color [of the trees] because of the rain in the midwest...They are just beautiful."
It's not the look that's just beautiful, he says sales are looking good too.
"We've started out better then in years past."
While there's hundreds of trees there to pick out this holiday, many people still have to make a big decision. Do you buy real or fake?
Mike Ferguson says real is the only way to go. He is purchasing his girlfriend her first ever real tree.
Because Evans says the only way to get your home looking like Christmas is with the centerpiece of the whole holiday.
"Is there a key to picking out the perfect tree? It's in your heart that's it!"
Once you get your tree home, make sure you put it in water immediatly, add some tree food, and then spray it. Those few things will help the tree last longer.
